Another Analyst Predicts Another PS3 Price Cut

August 7th, 2007 Posted in Business, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 by James

Wedbush Morgan’s Micheal Pachter is another analysts who recently took a spin in the time machine, as he predicts that Sony will not only lower the price on their PS2 console later this year, but will also lower the price on the PS3 in early 2008. According to Pachter, the PS2 will finally hit the $99 mark later this year, probably around the hectic Holiday 2007 season. He didn’t have an amount on the 2008 PS3 price cut, but one can expect another $100 off the 80 GB price point, and then the introduction of a 100 GB PS3 at $599. Well, maybe not. Our predictions are as good as Pachter’s (or any other analyst) at this point. At least we’d like to think so.
