Wii Firmware Updated

Nintendo has updated the Wii firmware to version 3, which includes several smaller updates and enhancements. The Weather Channel now shows weather conditions on its icon, the Wii Shop channel has been updated with a new and slick front page, with new announcements, game highlights, recommended games and more. You can now search for games by publisher, developer, genre and partial title search. Users have also reported that channel switching is now considerably faster, and faster disc speed/load times as well.
