Halo 3 Is Now The Fastest Selling Preorder Ever

It was bound to happen. With the advertisements, the hype, and the general popularity of the Halo series, it was only a matter of time before it broke some sort of record. Preorders for Halo 3 in North America have officially surpassed the one million mark, making Halo 3 the fastest selling preorder for a game in history. There’s nothing that can be said that hasn’t been said before about how overwhelmingly huge Halo 3 will be, the lines are going to be ridiculous! I would be completely shocked if Xbox Live isn’t affected by the sheer number of people playing on September 25th.

Luckily those of us who have preordered it with EBGame’s will get the game on the 25th and won’t have to wait in line. Although there’s nothin’ like knowing you were one of the first to get the newest installment of the Halo series.
