No More Freeloading On The Wii

Nintendo’s latest Wii update added some features, improved others, and add a limited keyboard support. But it also blocked the use of Datel’s Freeloader disc, originally made for the GameCube with intention to bypass region locking, allowing games from Japan and U.S. to be played on a PAL GameCube. Up until the latest update, the Freeloader could be used with backwards compatible Wii games, but no more. Nintendo says it’s not an official product approved by Nintendo, so “there’s nothing they (Nintendo, ed.) can do”.
