Chibi-Robo DS Goes Wal-Mart Exclusive

Earlier this week those who has pre-ordered Chibi-Robo from Gamestop received calls that the game had been cancelled. Turns out things weren’t quite as bleak as the game being cancelled. Instead Wal-Mart will be the exclusive retailer, meaning you can’t purchase the game anywhere except through Wal-Mart.

Unfortunately, Chibi-Robo was a bit of a low profile game to begin with, so it may not bode over too well for sales if it can only be purchased by a single retailer. That said, Wal-Marts are pretty universal, so if you are really a fan of the Chibi-Robo series, it’s not beyond reach. Chibi-Robo DS will be releasing October 2nd, so if you have received a call from Gamestop, time to take a trip to Wal-Mart and pre-order it again.
