EA Mobile Gets New Senior VP

August 10th, 2007 Posted in Business, Portable by James

After losing former VP John Schappert to Microsoft, EA has hired Barry Cottle as Senior Vice President of their Mobile Division. Cottle is an experienced chap (which one might expect) who held executive positions at Disney and Palm Inc.

His new job at EA will manage the development of new games for mobile phones, a division EA has heavily invested in for the past few years. Recently EA got another high-profile executive, when former Microsoft executive Peter Moore joined EA Sports last month.
