Grand Turismo 5 dated

Although listed as Grand Turismo HD with a December release date, it has been made official that the latest installment of the Grand Turismo series will hit shelves in Japan in July of 2008. Featuring things like improved car damage and downloadable updates, GT5 is expected to be a leap forward in terms of racing sims.
In related news, the fully featured downloadable demo entitled Grand Turismo 5 Prologue, which will give gamers a glimpse of the full game to come, will appear in Japan in October before the Tokyo Engine Show which starts October 26th.
