Sony Refunding Broken PSN Titles

August 12th, 2007 by Brian Lockhart in Online, PlayStation 3

Users whom have purchased Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer and MediEvil, both of which have been pulled from the PSN store due to bugs are now being fully refunded. If you’ve purchased either title, you should have already received the money back into your Playstation Network wallet, or will very shortly. The official word on the situation says:

“You will be aware from the description of the product on PlayStation Store that some variation in functionality from the original PSone version is to be anticipated,” the publisher wrote. “However there appear to be more significant technical issues.”

No word yet on Crash Bandicoot which was also pulled from the PSN store. We can expect either a fixed version or a refund should be in the works shortly.
