Today marks the beginning of a new week which means daily Smash Bros. updates. Today’s update is the announcement of a new character – Ash the Pokémon Trainer.
Incorporating not 1 but 3 Pokémon- Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard, the Pokémon Trainer is capable of switching between these 3 Pokémon, in that order, by using his Down Special Move entitled Pokémon change. While still sharing the same damage meter as not to overpower this new character all 3 of the Pokémon will have another stat that the
Dojo calls stamina. Which means if you keep the same Pokémon out too long or keep switching them too often it isn’t good for the Pokémon, probably losing them power.More screenshots of the Pokémon Trainer after the break.
