Smash Bros. Dojo Update: Devil’s World

August 14th, 2007 Posted in Action, Wii

The Smash Bros. Dojo has really been on a streak as of late. Early on the concept was mocked as they were simply rehasing old information in small daily updates. But once we rose over the small hump, it seems that Smash Bros. Dojo may be a marketers dream. Daily updates cause all eyes on Smash Bros., and usually they are interesting enough that we can get just a little more excited for the title every single day.

Of course, nothing can beat new characters being revealed, but something that’s rivaling those updates are the new assist characters we see every single day. Often these are extremely off beat characters that we wouldn’t even have guessed would make an appearance. Devil, today’s update, is a true testament to that. Being from a Japan only title Devil’s World, most of us have surely never even heard of the character. His ability is an interesting one, and unhelpful to all players. By grabbing at the screen, he drags it off center so that only a very small portion of the screen will be playing field, the rest will just be the edge of the chasm. This could make for some very interesting scenarios as you simply fight your way for the only small piece of land remaining.
