Xbox Live Userbase Reaches 7.1 Million
August 14th, 2007 by James Hyde in Business, Online, Xbox360
In the midst of the continuous hardware problems plaguing the Xbox 360, Microsoft just announced that Xbox Live now has over 7 million users, or 7.1 million to be precise. That’s 70% of Xbox 360 owners who are online, and they apparently like Xbox Live Arcade as well - the average gamer purchases 6-7 games on Live Arcade. By the end of 2007, Microsoft hopes to reach 45 million Xbox Live arcade downloads, with over 100 games available.

Man people are so cheap, I know this guy that makes 60,000 a year. Not bad, making that on ur own u know? I wont pay 5 bucks a month, that’s bs. As my dad always said ” You get what U paid for ”
Xbox live over ps2 online…
Xbox 360 live over ps3 online… too.
It’s good to see people actually realizing how great the live service is. LOL, I remember playing on xbox live on the very first xbox. Only like 60-100k people subscribed lol. Now we’re talking about millions…almost at 8 million.. I dont care what people say, for MS to pull this off lol u have to give it them.
What I love about the arcade and live, u can download demos and old games. I like how developers are doing that for us now. I didnt like how I couldnt playing doom 1 on my xp machine until 04 when doom 3 came out id made a little upgrade patch for newer OS(xp).
I dont care to pay 5 bucks for service, if it’s truely better. But, MS pissed me off to charge me 5 bucks for my pc. That right there, I didnt like at all.
