Valve’s Steam service seems to be on a roll, after id Software released a bunch of games on their service, Steam is now getting one of the most anticipated PC games of the year - BioShock. IGN owned Direct2Drive service will also be offering BioShock as a download.
The PC version is expected in stores and online on August 21 (three days alter in Europe though). A demo will be available for download tomorrow.

YAY/DAMN IT! I was happily going to buy the CE because it was only $10 more in Australia. Now I’ll have to choose between paying AU$50 for the one on steam or AU$90 for the one in store. WAAAGH

I really wish companies that sell games online like this should give us a discount. I mean u did on hl2/rest of the steam games before. Why I wish this? they dont have to pay a service charge at stores to hold their items(the one steam theyre selling) so they get more money cuz we’re buying direct.
