BioShock Faceplates on eBay

Since the BioShock craze is running at an all-time high right now, people have been cashing in on it to sell off their rare BioShock faceplates for Xbox 360 through eBay. Apparently, these faceplates were given out for free by 2K Boston (formerly known as Irrational Games) to fans and GameStop employees. The faceplate is limited to 5100 units and the only way one could get one of these was to work in a gaming store, or be an active community member.
However, these faceplates are now appearing all over eBay, with some fetching around $100 while most are hovering about $50. As the writer on Ars Technica points out, it is bad taste to profit out of this.

I would love to have that face plate. I was thinking about paint my own. What they should is add shell’s, so this would match the faceplate..
