BioShock Remixed by Moby

poster2a.jpgIn even more BioShock news, 2K Games has announced the release of an exclusive EP remixed by Moby and Oscar the Punk. It will be available with the Limited Edition version of the game through GameStop and EB Canada; the CD will also be available from Game Crazy as a pre-sale gift-with-purchase.

The three remixed tracks on the CD include Beyond the Sea, God Bless the Child and Wild Little Sisters, variations of which appear in their original format in the game. Moby and Oscar the Punk jointly remixed them keeping the game’s atmosphere in mind.

“While these classic songs from the 40’s and 50’s evoke a happier time, they take on an eerie aesthetic in BioShock’s decaying art deco-designed underwater city of Rapture,” said Christoph Hartmann, President of 2K Games. “Moby and Oscar The Punk have captured that disparity with these remixes and added a new spin to these indelible classics.”

The Limited Edition version of BioShock also contains a figurine of one of the game’s Big Daddy creatures, exclusive packaging and a behind-the-scenes DVD. The game is due out tomorrow in North America and this Friday in Europe for PC and Xbox 360.

    This game was completely amazing.. I have to say.. with the doom series and half life series.. You have bioshock/system shock 2 right in there. Im playing bioshock a 2nd time on the pc to experience it on pc.. thats how great it was.

    I really like this company too.. unlike EA they give u many options and take care of costumers.
