Euro Xbox 360 Price Cut

1889051218_1999998474_xbox360elite.jpgFollowing the US price drop, Microsoft today announced a price reduction for the Xbox 360 in the UK, as well as the launch of the Elite model in the region. Starting this Friday, gamers will be able to pick up Xbox 360 Core for £179.99 (£20 cut) and a Premium console for £249.99 (£30 reduced). The Xbox 360 Elite will also be available, carrying an estimated retail price of £299.99 when it launches in the UK this Friday.

“We’re pleased to be able to offer Xbox 360 at a new, lower estimated retail price,” said Stephen McGill, Head of Gaming & Entertainment, Xbox UK. “We pioneered the successful concept of multiple products for multiple categories of consumer. First-timers will love the Xbox 360 Core system, which offers an affordable entry into high-definition gaming. The Xbox 360 Elite, with its large hard drive and wireless controller, will appeal to casual and experienced gamers and families. The Xbox 360 opens up whole new avenues of entertainment for those who seek the ultimate gaming and entertainment experience.”

    They’re not making major price cuts. Only £20? What the heck? Doesn’t make a big difference for me.

    MS is just a bunch of cheap and unfair scumbags. If they want to keep people from disrespecting them they should make it an equal price, just in the different currency, so that if you went pounds, to dollars, to whatever else it’d be the same.

    the 360 is still new, u guys dont realize it’s bout to hit the biggest sales for game’s. It’s not old what so ever atm. People will be buying all 3 consoles this xmas :-)
