Hear that sound? That’s the sound of about a bazillion Halo fans stampeding to Seattle for the first ever Halo 3 public event, where Halo 3 will be demonstrated in all it’s glory on an IMAX Screen. Admission to the event is free, but you must be either 18, or with an adult to be granted access. All forms of cameras are restricted, but chances are we’ll see tons of leaks regardless.
Bungie staff will be on hand to demonstrate a sneak peek at co-op Campaign, Saved Films, and one or two surprises. There may also be time for a brief Q&A.
What might those surprises be? Well, a while ago I predicted some form of Forge in Campaign. We’ll have to wait until tonight to find out. For more information about the event and how you can participate, click here.

3lol, dude.. they re still trying to beat out sony for no 1.. MS is doing the console stuff for fun. This company is like a trillion dollar company. Vista is selling and selling. It crushed what xp did in sells, people just like vista bc of the design.. amazing isnt it.
Yeah,I do think MS does alittle to much, but dude they have to. You have to make it look cool for people to come in and buy it. I think this year with the 360/ps3 will sell out this xmas. I think the 360 will do better with more exe’s than the ps3. I think the wii will sell more copies but not as much software as the ps3/360.
This is a smart move man, releasing this to get fans pumped before the release. When halo 3 comes/bioshock gets well known, assassin creed.. etc.. I see all systems go!(selling)

4It’s all marketing. Vista is a DOWNGRADE for most PC users.
I agree it is a smart and required move. It is a business after all.
Though personally I hate this kinda thing, this selling your game out as a franchise to get more public attention. It’s a game.. It’s not a drink, a whatever. This type of selling out was only seen from movie promotions until not long ago. And generally Disney ones at that.
But I guess this has to happen as gaming moves into the mainstream - advertising, selling out, milking a franchise for all it’s worth. It’s sad.
