DigitalBattle is around a year and a half old, and still growing. We need you, the readers, to tell us what you like and dislike about the blog, what you wish more and less of etc. Tell us if you want more tech hardware news and less Japanese sales charts for instance. Or more game business news and less bashing of Sony, just as an example. We appreciate all of your support over the last year and a half, which is why we want to get even better and give you guys more of the kind of news that you want.

I’d like a way to organize stories by date. I like to read them in chronological order, and when I’m away for a few days not only do things get spoiled but it’s hard to find out where I left off.

well lets see i do wish we had less japanese hardware sales manyly cuz there never going to change. now if suddently the 360 becomes the top seller in japan then i would like to know. I would also like more Game anouncements that have to do with rumers for games. Actually that might just be the time because i know there have been many in the past besides that this is my favorite gaming site. I also think that there should be a way for every one to post new information.

1. LOL more reliable gremlins..
2. Instead of viewing a post to select previous blog, It would be awesome on the home page.. so u dont have to click on archives.
3. Instead of the gray borders, It would be cool to see the new big title of a game on it.. you know, give it some flavor. I still lol the site either way.
4. I would like to see more upcoming gamings more then japan sales charts.. yeah it’s interesting but weekly?
5. It would be awesome to have a forum page, where all of guys/girls can go into a forum section and chat on the latest news u guys just released fresh. Or just talk period u know?
6. It would be awesome to have a tip button.. if I would something cool for one of your writers to write about.
Honestly, I love the site.. but this is just minor stuff.

7. It would be awesome if u guys would do a review on a game.. Kinda like gamespot, where u give your own ratings on a game…
8. It would be cool if u guys would have alittle more pc stuff.. like hardware(morely gaming parts)
Other than that, most of the reviews are kick ass eitherway

Ok my turn again i didnt have time to write the good things about digital battle when i was on earlier cuz i was tired from work. So hear it goes I love the site even though i only started commenting i visited the site on a day 2 day basis. I feel that the site is great and gives me all the information i need. I like finding out about updates to the xbox. Like recently with the new skate demo and bioshock. I also enjoy the news that i would not be able to find out early like That there were new gears maps and about gaming events and new game titles information.

I would like to see more reviews and opinionated pieces. More opinions on rumors, new etc. Only other thing is a forum or chat. Something to communicate with fellow gamers.
This site is my primary game news site now so keep up the great work!

Thanks Everyone yes we want to do reviews, we have to contact the studios or buy the games to review , we have done a few reviews in the past and reviews are what we always wanted to do on the site but its takes that extra bit effort that we are prepared to do as we grow. I think two new managers are starting on the site next week so we hope to get db rolling further into the futrue with many new features and stuff

I think you guys shoudl focus on getting as many news as possible, forget about podcasts, the net is flooded with them.

why does every one think that we should have reviews. i think we should have actual profiles so we can see what you commented on and who wrote somthing about your comment. i hate having 2 go back a page or 2 in order to find a story i liked in order to see what people wrote about it after what i wrote. and that would solve echos problem with not being able to communicate with others.

I like how you guys state your opinion but you might want to lay off the bias a little bit. I do like Japan sales because its good to see what is going on elsewhere, and plus they come out sooner than U.S sales.
I like game reviews so more of those would be neat, and also you should have posters do official reviews that have played the games.

yes but evander the japanese sales arnt gonna change. Now the wii passing 260 in sales thats news but hearing about the ds destroy everything else in japans gets old and i find the bias the best part of the site its nice to know that other people have the same or dont have the same feelings about games. It makes the articles more enjoyable

Please dont stop posting japanese sales charts. Instead, start posting even more charts. It would be very nice to see some european sales charts to. Or even better, have a Sales chart segment, where you could have a weekly/monthly sales charts comparison between the relevant countries. Japan, USA, GB, Germany, France, Spain and Scandinavia. I think Japanese sales charts are very relavtive. Scroll down if you wont read them.
And yes, clicking on some of the other profiles to see their last entry/entries would be a very nice feature.

Now, I’m not an HTML or X HTML expert but seriously, all the template changes are annoying when everything gets screwed around on the site.
You guys need to organize better how to edit the site.
I’ve done HTML the hard way before, in Notepad, where I can then save the notepad as an .html file and then view it before I make it final on the actual web page. Whoever edits the website should really consider checking the site’s look before they make it final so that its easier for us to read and find and access the site.
As for different skins, I know some websites will have different links of the different formats or color schemes of the site.
I prefer to see whats happening in other parts of the world, thats why I like the different sales charts, and European ones would be cool too if we could get them.
Hey! Just a thought, maybe a countdown of games coming out that are actually verified, not just rumors or guesses. Same for hardware/consoles and other things.

I forgot to comment about what NECKRYS said, about the profiles. That would be nice too and make things easy, with the whole avatar thing. http://www.majorgeeks.com is a good forum site with the profile and member ranking thing and whatnot.
There could be a quick jump to what you last commented on under a list on the side of like a User Panel of everything everyone and yourself has commented on recently.
If any of this is even possible… it’d be cool.

I think DigitalBattle should have a feature that we can pick up on a topic through time. If we wanted to read about the same game/genre/producer, it would be best to know all the articles about it. This feature is different than “related material” though. It would really track the stories that you have put up, going hopefully with your train of thought!
Just a thought!
