   Yeah, I dont doubt he’s not mentally stable. I just think he’s an asshole. A guy trying to get a lot of attention, this is what I personally think. Just like Dr. Phil.. They have so many followers, so they think they can put their nose in the mix. I hate it when non gamers, never played games think they know what they’re talking about.

   20 bucks, Dr. Phil and Jack watch R rated movies.. Movies show way more then games.. this is my beef

   Excuse me, but he’s not “my psychologist.” He’s an expert recognized by The Florida Bar itself as a qualified forensic psychologist who did a professional examination of me, with no strings attached.

   The Bar is cooked by this, in light of its baseless demands that I submit to an assessment by psychologists affiliated with The Bar. The Bar knows how baseless its demand is, as indicated by the fact that it refused to get an order mandating the exam.

   Tell me one thing, Mr. Thompson. Why do u hate games so much?

   Why does it bother you? Did your noticed people aren’t as violent as before?

   Why do you think the guy from VA that killed all of those people played video games?

   Were u surprised the kid never had a console in his room? And wasn’t it over a girl? So, basically he never killed people just to kill people. He, did it in anger and sadness of people picking on him.

   I seriously doubt you’re Jack Thompson, or a friend.. or an Attorney of his. I play doom,half life,css,bf2.. and I dont want to kill people.. I played gta,gta2,gta3,gta vc.. and I never had thoughts of killing people.

   I wish people would leave gamers alone. Yeah some idiots in this world always blame it on games/hollywood/record companies. It’s fake, I hold a mouse/gamepad and I know it’s fake. I go on bf2 to have fun, no I would never want to see someone get shot in the head at all. I just like to play games for the hell of it. It’s fun!

   Like I said, people always use games/moves/music to pend on when they get into trouble. You do it bc you’re crazy.. that’s it.

   well, I play CSS, BF2, GTAvc and I dont wanna kill people in RL either. But I do have vivid fantasies about such events, am I a potential massacarist or just massacreistic?

   ok great guys this is good what ever this is about thats cool lets just get back to the games, yes some games are violent some a good who cares its out there and people have a choice to buy them or not

   we have to remember that Games are not the only thing that contain massive amounts of violence. movies, tv, music(not just rap), newspapers, radios, and of course video games. But everything has violence its the world we live in and its what makes monney, Taking out one thing out of the huge list of things that promote violence in this country is not going to make a difference. Thompson just wants the publicity becous other wise no one would care about him. Its just like Bill cosby when he was washed up he went on a campaign to take all cursing out of tv. But we all know that thompson just paid his fat doctor millions of donuts in order to say he was stable.

    Crazy people are smart, most know how to fool people… Look at Zodiac and Jack the Ripper. Both never got caught. Jack didn’t have TV, video games, or violent music. Zodiac was near when computers just came out so its doubtful he had violent video games. TV, I don’t know if it was violent back then, and there was Disco and Woodstock.

    So tell me, with violent murderers in the past when video games weren’t around, how is it that they can be blamed now?

    Bloody pathetic as if People actually belive videogames are responsible for the major suicides and deaths accross the world..terrorism = videogame, assasination = videogame, school shooting = video game.They yak on about it as if its the scurge of the universe. Why is it neccasary to blame things which people dont understand. Video games are to fuel fantasy, inspire imagination and most of all to have fun and explore possibilites which arent just possible to do in real life. Experts, loyars phycologists obviously cant differentiate between whats real and whats not..all those people who do unfortantely succumb to the tiny mundane evil little voices in there heads and commit horrendous acts are due to there own will and actions not because of a video game..jeez as if video games secretly talk to people and tell to gop shoot people….ITs bovious that these sect of people are naturally mentall unstable and need help…otherwise you would be getting the whole gaming community shooting randoms..and that happen!…to bad manhunt 2 had to be scrapped that would just been fun game to play @)

    im confused y is this post up if we are suposed to talk about games? I still find it hard that people cant see the fact that video games dont have an effect. Evander i like what you said about ripper and zodiac and at this time i have to say i agree but im not saying those are the only reason for violence. not at all i just think that they do have a effect on behavior and the way people think that is all.
