At its press conference at Leipzig Games Convention, SCEE announced that the new PSP Slim model will be available across Europe from September 5 for €170. Also exclusive to the region are two limited edition PSP bundles. The first bundle will feature a PSP in Spiderman Red and Black and include a copy of Spider-Man 2 and the Blu-ray movie Spider-man 3. The other bundle will come in a “fetching” shade of Simpsons Yellow and will feature the Simpsons game. Both bundles will retail for €200.
“We are delighted to announce the arrival of the newly designed PSP to the SCEE region, whilst also providing something unique and special for our consumers.” said David Reeves, President of SCEE. “With the addition of two limited edition colour bundles, inspired by the blockbuster Spider-Man and Simpsons Hollywood movies, together with the new video-out port, which gives consumers the option to enjoy PSP content on the big screen, we are confident that this now brings a whole new dimension to the PSP entertainment experience.”

2Haha Sony likes a lot to make a slim and fat versions of their consoles. We might eventually see a slim PS3.
I wanted a more durable PSP though… is the slim version more durable?
