Guitar Hero 3 Rocks Tony Hawk

275px-guitar-hero-iii-cover-image.jpgGuitar Hero fanatics hoping to get some Guitar Hero III playtime in before the game is released can now look forward to it, as a demo of the game will be bundled with Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground when it ships on October 9. This is applicable only for the Xbox 360 version of the game; the demo will also be released on Xbox Live two weeks after the Tony Hawk game has shipped.

The demo features five tracks set in the Desert Rock Tour venue. It contains three master tracks and two cover songs. Here’s the list:

  • Lay Down (by Priestess)
  • Even Flow (by Pearl Jam)
  • The Metal (by Tenacious D)
  • Hit Me with your Best Shot (as made famous by Pat Benatar)
  • Rock You like a Hurricane (as made famous by Scorpions)

    • Guitar Hero III is set for release on October 29 on PS2, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360.

      If I bought the guitar for gh3, will it play on the gh2 game?
