Steam doesnt use secuROM, just the cdkey thingy which isnt malicious

That happened with Colin Mcrae Dirt. Installed it, went to open it, told me I HAD to install SecuROM, downloaded a crack, now I’m playing it without having to install SecuROM.
Did the Steam version come with SecuROM?

This pisses me off, I fucking installed the demo. Now, I bought the 360 version. At the last part of the game it would freeze and lock up. I had to get another game to finish it. This is annoying, more than 1 person experienced this.

I just used the program to check my system, and true enough, "SECUROM" was listed... I removed it, my game doesn't run anylonger (which one might expect).

What a load of BS! I should have gotten the 360 version.
