Bioshock Banned in Valve Offices

The people behind Half-Life 2 are busy at work developing their latest product, Orange Box. The package includes Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Team Fortress 2, and of course, Portal. But video game developers need a break too, right? Just to keep the employees busy, Valve has restricted playing the hot first person shooter of the moment; Bioshock.
“Nobody gets to play it until Orange Box is done - that’s our reward to ourselves as a company; everyone gets a copy of Bioshock.”
Atleast this way we know that Orange Box won’t be delayed any further, and we’ll be playing Portal in no time. Unfortunately for the people at Valve’s offices they won’t be able to have any fun at all. The staff will finally be able to get their grubby hands on Bioshock on October 19th, when their project is finally complete at cs_office.

How so? You only work 8 hours a day, are they banning them even when they’re not at work?

Probably not, but wouldn’t you get in some gaming now and then if you sat in front of a computer all day? I know the only thing that’s kept me from turning my work PC into a gaming station is the lack of administrator access on my account.

Valve have made this announcement to drive sales of Bioshock on Steam. I wouldn’t read too far into it.
