Gran Turismo 5 Prologue on PSN and Blu-ray

gt5prolog.jpgThe juggernaut racing series is coming back for more! SCEE and Polyphony Digital today announced that Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, a prequel of the full game, will be available for download from the PlayStation Network and purchasable on Blu-ray disc at the end of this year. It will feature over 40 cars, including vehicles by Lotus, Nissan and Ferrari to drive around in photorealistic tracks ranging from London City Track, Suzuka and more.

Prologue will support up to 16 players in an online match, having players go head-to-head on the PlayStation Network. There will be global online rankings and a My Garage homepage feature that will let players make friends, chat and offer access to personal game records.

The title will be out this October, while the real Gran Turismo 5 will appear sometime in 208.
