Mountain Dew Game Fuel Commercial

August 29th, 2007 by Gibran Nawaz in FPS, Offbeat, Video, Xbox360

halo3_sodacan.jpgThe makers of Mountain Dew are going to be trying something new to attract the energy drink crowd, filled with hardcore teenage gamers. So, the company has decided to slap Master Chief on the bottle and title their new drink, “Game Fuel.” The drink has been in stores since August 13th, so you might have spotted it in several markets already. Unfortunately, it will only be available for a limited time.

The new advertisement focuses on online gaming via Xbox Live. Gamers all around the world are playing Halo 3, getting their asses handed to them by one guy who is being energized by, you guessed it, Game Fuel. Make the jump for the commercial.

  1. Zac Richards Says:

I heard from a friend that it’s just a mixture of two other MD flavors. Marketing, marketing, marketing.

  2. The Wicker Man Says:

Not to sound like a dick, but nintendo has the only cool commercials so far.

MS - weird, come on the halo 3 one they scream throughout the whole entire thing.

Sony - even weirder, a system sits there and hovers over. Then a baby cries with black tears coming out.

So far, both companies (or the people doing the advertisements need to be fired or something.
