Sony Edits Halo 3 Wikipedia Entry
September 4th, 2007 by James Hyde in Business, News, Online
First EA got caught heavily editing its own Wikipedia entry, and now Sony has been caught been caught editing the Halo 3 entry. Someone from their Liverpool Studios in the UK added the following line to the entry on Halo 3 graphics:
…Although it (the graphics, ed.) wont look any better than Halo 2.
As with all other crap that’s posted on Wikipedia, this was quickly corrected and the entry is now closed for further editing. Tsk Tsk, Sony. Embarrassing. Pathetic. That’s all I’m gonna say.

Hahahahahaha!
Someone could easily LEGITIMATELY edit a Sony wikipedia entry with “Killzone 2 doesn’t look as good as when it was Sony tried to claim pre-rendered video as in game footage.” Ah, funny times.

That wikipedia editor tracker is probably the most useful thing to wiki heads ever. I’ve seen so many stories about it and about scandalous wikipedia edits lately it’s not even funny.

To the Kill Zone 2 entry!!

lmao
I’m sure whoever did that was fired and maimed. It sure did make Sony look bad. Or I suppose worse…
I’m glad Microsoft is in the gaming business, it gives us more choices. I think I read somewhere too that in a certain type of business, more competitors keeps prices down.

This is why I don’t use Wikipedia anymore. Too many put in false information and personal opinions.

Wikipedia is an excellent source of information, and stuff like this gets quickly corrected.

Someone should also put in the Sony wikipedia about how PGR graphics were used to advertise for Gran Turismo…

LOLz Who doesn’t edit Wiki? Microsoft, US Military, US Tax Bureau, British Government, BBC, Nintendo, HP, Dell, etc! You name it and most any company has sabotaged the Wiki in some way!
It’s the thing to do! After all after Microsoft got caught over two years ago editing Bill Gates Wiki pages. I thought it would break loose then, but it’s taken time for some industrious fellow to write a simple engine that back traces the IP’s of the machines that enter data.
Only thing is you can fool it into thinking a dummy site did it. That way you can now blame it on anybody you want. Now it’s just a he said, she said, sissy fight! LOLz
…and I thought DoD and NSA were sad for changing their entries. Hell, edit this engines code and you can have it point to anyone you choose! hehe Pretty silly, makes the games children play look like babies playing!

Sony should be worrying about selling those PS3s and not Halo3. Well they might as well edit it. They already lost the console war. By the way, Halo is still overated and overhyped. Golden Eye 64 Bitches!

I was wondering what some of the more mature members here do about dating. It seems much harder for older singles to find a mate, so I might be turning to online dating for older singles.
any suggestions? thanks.
