Auto Assault Shuts Down

auto-assault-4.jpgThe Auto Assault website carries word that the action-MMOG has been closed down. This failed game has had a lot of history and a shaky start, but had gained quite a few fans. According to the announcement, eligible members will be given a “parting gift” in the form of participation in other NCSoft MMORPGs including Tabula Rasa and City of Heroes. “It’s our way of saying “Thank You” to the diehard Auto Assault fan base,” notes the last update on the site.

    It was fun, but not as an MMO. I stopped playing it like a week after I got it. sad but true.
