If you didn’t believe the user-posted videos, or even the Kotaku-posted video, then here’s word for you: Lair is confirmed to be playable on the PSP via Remote Play. This comes direct from an SCEE spokesperson who has confirmed this to Next-Gen.

Lair is one of the company’s key titles this year and makes full use of the console’s interaction with the PSP. Gamers who have both Sony consoles can use the PS3’s built-in wireless capabilities to play the game on the PSP within the house or remotely via an access point. Although the handheld does not have any R2 or L2 buttons - making it very difficult to play - the game is still playable and seems to feature quite sharp graphics.

It seems that developers are being slow to take advantage of the PS3’s built-in features. Hopefully, time will tell if more games will make use of this feature or not.
