Sony’s Dave Karraker Leaves

September 5th, 2007 Posted in Business, PSP, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 by James

Dave Karraker, Senior Director of Corporate Communications for Sony Computer Entertainment America (long title, eh?) has announced that he’s dumping Sony for Skyy Spirits, a vodka company. Karraker was usually the guy who would respond to rumors, denying them, or confirming, sometimes both. It was a tough job for Karraker and Sony’s PR department, looking back at the whole pre and post-launch PS3 ordeal of rumors/letdowns/lies (etc. etc.). And it won’t be any easier for Karraker’s successor, whoever that might might be.
