Bethesda has announced The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles retail disc for Xbox 360, offering non-Xbox Live users the chance to check out the expansion. The disc will also include the downloadable content, Knights of the Nine.

Originally released back in March 2006 for PC and Xbox 360 - and March 2007 for PS3 - the game has earned many awards around the world for its freestyle gameplay and graphics. Shivering Isles adds more than 30 hours of new gameplay, with Knights of the Nine adding an all-new faction and quests, among other things.

The retail disc will ship to stores this October.
