For some reason Microsoft feels the need to ensure that Xbox live breaks on September 25th. Apparently, from September 25th to the 27th, in conjunction with the launch of Halo 3, everyone that has access to a Best Buy will be able to obtain an Xbox Live Gold subscription. Of course, this offer is temporary. After the 27th, the subscriptions will expire and Xbox Live will return to the usually controlled chaos. Naturally, Best Buy is agreeing to this in hopes that when people drop by to snag their free Gold subscription, they will also pick up their copy of Halo 3 there as well.
That’ only the tip of the iceberg. Contestants of a special Best Buy contest will have a chance to win a special Pontiac G6 GXP, with special Halo 3 interior and exterior design. There’s a image of the inside of the Halo Pontiac after the jump.

Stumble It!
