If you happen to drop by Las Vegas anytime soon, be sure to check out Madame Tussauds - they now sport a Master Chief statue. He is only on display at the museum’s Las Vegas branch located near the Venetian Casino. According to a company representative, the statue may “go on loan to other locations, but his permanent home will be in Las Vegas.”
Master Chief was first created in London and flown to Vegas for the big reveal. Unfortunately, his first photo-op was with Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz. The statue stands at 7′2″ tall and weighs 275lbs. Unlike other Tussauds statues, he is not made from wax but from 1,000 pounds of clay. Apparently, there will an event at the Las Vegas location for the Halo 3 launch, though details are still being worked out with Microsoft.
