Iwata Says No Wii Sports 2 Soon

Nintendo’s Satoru Iwata did a series of interviews with Nintendo employee Shigesato Itoi, who posted it all on his website, naturally. In one of the interviews, Iwata says that there are no plans of a Wii Sports sequel, a popular title bundled with the Wii.
“We’re not closing our doors to the possibility of a sequel, but it’s definitely not coming out soon”
He went on to say that should Nintendo find themselves in a tough position, they’ll of course consider the possibility of more sequels, including Wii Sports.
“But realistically, I think we can say ‘we won’t do the easy’ because we are currently making profit. If we were having a hard time, maybe we will chose (sic) the easy, so that we can make profit for certain.”
Sounds like a decent plan, if things are going well (as they clearly are), focus on creating new games, if things slow down, cash in on more sequels.
