GameTap Going International
GameTap, a popular online games-subscription service, is going international in the “beginning of 2008,” Shacknews reports. This comes from Ric Sanchez, VP of content in the company, who revealed that an English-language version is being developed and is hoped to be made accessible to other parts of the world. The service is currently only available in the United States and Canada.
The service has recently gained popularity, as it now plays host to thousands of games, including recent ones by Eidos and Codemasters, as well as the Sam & Max episodic series and the upcoming American McGee’s Grimm, another episodic series. A monthly subscription to the service requires $10.
