Logo_evo_150 From Sony’s keynote at the Tokyo Games Show comes word that the company has acquired two publishers - Evolution Studios and Bigbig Studios. These two studios have been making games for PlayStation systems for quite some time now, with the first responsible for the PS3 launch title Motorstorm, which has so far sold over a million copies. The latter is responsible for Pursuit Force on PSP, which has sold over 800,000 copies till date.

As per the announcement, the studios now become part of SCE’s Worldwide Studios network, benefiting from sharing technology and production methodology from other members including Guerilla Games, Polyphony Digital and Zipper Interactive.
