Confirming rumors, Eidos’ parent company SCi Games revealed that they held talks with Time Warner and an unnamed Chinese company about possible buyouts of the company.
This comes from The Times who reports that EA may have also shown interest in the company which has quite a few big franchises in its pockets, including Tomb Raider and Hitman. Time Warner currently owns 10 percent of SCi’s shares and has an agreement with the company to develop games based on its properties.
