Well now everyone who has their 360 under warranty can hope it breaks so they can send it in and get a new one with the 65 nm chips

With the release of Halo 3 and skate I’ve been waiting to actually pick up a 360 but Halo 3 and these new 65nm boxes has finally made it the time to pick one up.

Can anyone confirm whether it runs quieter and cooler than the old, 90nm based console?

Yeah it does, no more loud freaking fans. No more loud loading disc tray sounds.

Well my 360 runs really well and really quietly so I am happy but I still wouldn’t mind if mine broke down in the next year so that I can get a new one with the 65 nm chips. But anyway it doesn’t matter because next year I am getting a new one with HDMI connectivity once I get a new HTS with HDMI connectivity. Right now I use optical sound which is really clear but still I like the idea on one cable for data and audio so yeah next year it will be time.
