Universe at War Delayed in Europe

It was originally reported by CVG, who carries confirmation from publisher Sega, that Universe at War: Earth Assault was delayed to next year. It was originally set for release later this year, but will now be released on both PC and Xbox 360 in January 2008.

However, it was followed up with word that the delay is limited to European regions only. The North American version will be released later this year, though the Xbox 360 version is still slated for release in January.

The game will be one of few that supports cross-platform multiplayer, allowing gamers on both platforms to square off against each other. A closed multiplayer beta test is going on.
