Video Proof Of Halo Running On The DS

October 2nd, 2007 by Brian Lockhart in FPS, Nintendo DS, Rumor, Video

Microsoft has been making quite the showing on the Nintendo DS as of late. This seems to quash any rumors about a Microsoft handheld in the near future. Between first party Rare titles being shipped over to the DS, (Diddy Kong Racing, Viva Piñata) and third parties pushing over some efforts to recoup a bit of cost, the Nintendo DS is truly the current cash cow. One game though, now cancelled, has been rumoured and not very accepted up to this point. It springs from Matt Cassamassina over at IGN revealing he had played Halo on DS over a year ago, many cried bull. Well, seeing is truly believing, enjoy the above videos which showcase Halo DS running in an early, although fairly smooth state. Perhaps an elaborate hoax? It seems unlikely giving the credible source, so just accept the fact that Halo was at one point on the DS, but doesn’t appear to be any longer. The real question is what made Microsoft change their mind.
