DigitalBattle is holding a contest for those who like to comment on our stories, it’s to celebrate 1 million visitors to the site since it started over a year and half ago. From this week on, we’ll pick the best 3 comments each week and award each one with a game. All you have to do is to continue posting relevant and constructive comments on stories. Check out this week’s prizes after the jump.
- First place: The Godfather the Game – The Godfather the Game by Electronic Arts(Xbox 360)
- Second place: Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth II by Electronic Arts (Xbox 360)
- Third place: Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 by Electronic Arts (Xbox 360)
The winners will be picked next week October 14, where after the contest is reset, and three new games are awarded for the next week.

Wow that is pretty cool … but could I please request that you wait and can I get a copy of any one of these three PC games: Gears of War, UT3, Crysis or on the Wii Spiderman friend or foe, Resident Evil UC, or the Simpsons, on the 360 I would love to have Virtua Fighter 5, Conan, or Jericho … I had LoTR already and I didn’t even really like it so I traded it in. When I win prizes I like to keep them so it would be much better for me if one of these things were possible.
Another idea that is even cheaper is the new Messenger keyboard for the 360 controllers to type IMs and emails on XBL. That would be cool. I am actually just glad to win something again so whatever happens is fine. If I have to I will just trade it in (but I want to keep my winning prizes usually. But anyway thanks again I really appreciate it. I am just glad that I make what you feel are worthwhile comments. That makes me feel good about myself. Thanks.
On another note … how the heck did Wickerman win first place over me? I always have better stuff to say than him!
You know I am just messing with you WM. We may not always agree but at least we know how to remain civil and respect eachother’s opinions.

I’m not being demanding at all … did you even read the whole thing and notice my tone. All I am saying is that I already had that exact game and I did not like it so it would be a waste. I would rather wait for a game I like if that is possible. But if not no problem … being a winner is always a great thing … when you get good freebies it’s not like you can complain.
@WM – No you misunderstand … I don’t mean in a bad way at all … I just meant we don’t always agree but we do agree more often than not … plus I was just razing you for getting 1st over me.
In case you hadn’t noticed I am top dog around these parts … 1500 plus posts can’t be wrong.

Well I can honestly say the game I would actually want as a prize for now is Conan or Jericho for the 360 which comes out next week. Actually the release date is the 23rd for them so either of them (Conan would be the best though) or if you can’t do that then wait the following week and get VF5. I am getting so many shooters this holiday season anyway I would much prefer to have Conan, VF5 or the Simpsons for the Wii (in that order). If you need to stick within your budget and not get a new game then I totally understand your position but then I would I would ask that you send me Painkiller Overdose which hits the 15th. You decide … surprise me even further … it will feel like my Birthday. If you need my address again let me know.
I am asking right now if I can please do the UT3 review for DB … PLEASE … see I am not even asking about the Crysis one because I know you will want to do that more than likely but please let me do Unreal … that is my favorite gaming IP hands down … so think about it and let me know … especially if you can score me an early copy!
I do have a 360 gamepad for the PC so I could easily do the Gears review as well.
And I have upgraded my system so I am ready for all the new games coming. I now have an Vista Home Prem., Opteron 185 dual core cpu OCed to 2.8 Ghz, and a 8800 GTS 320 (by the end of November I will have upgraded to a GTX unless there is a better card to step up to) … I can pretty much run all games on high and max values as long as my resolution is 1280×1024 or below. There are some rare games that I run 1600×1200 (UT2K4, Halo 2).

Ana, you should sell your gts, and take that 200 and buy a 8800 gt, the specs crush the gts(both) and it’s worth it to sell. Because people won’t know, and you can make the same profit, and never really lose out on anything.

No the specs don’t crush it … I think it is just a replacement but it is actually a bit slower than the GTS even though it has a bit more memory. I am going to use my step up program on nothing less than a GTX … those cards are screamers … but also I am waiting for info on the 8900 cards. I have 75 days or so left and the games I really want are not even out yet so there is no rush … I can afford to wait and see if there is announcement in the next two months.
