Sony To Release White DualShock 3 Controller And PS3 In Japan
October 9th, 2007 by James Hyde in Gear, Hardware, PlayStation 3
Sony will release the DulaShock 3 PlayStation 3 controller in Japan on November 11th, in a usual (and expected) black edition, and a new white one, called Ceramic White, which, honestly, looks pretty cool. The controllers will retail for 5,500 Yen, or $47, and will not be included with the new 40 GB PS3s. It is unknown whether the white DualShock 3 controller will be released outside Japan, the black one is set for release early next year.
Kotaku reports that Sony will also release a white 40GB PS3 in Japan, retailing for around $350. Furthermore, the current 20 GB and 60 GB versions will receive a price cut.
