Hitman Movie Cut Down To PG-13 Rating
Cinematical reports that Fox has removed director Xavier Gens from the movie’s edition room, and replaced his editor with Nicolas DeToth, who edited Die Hard 4 to a PG-13 rating as well. Fox wants to re-edit the film, cut out all the good stuff (read: violence) so they can sell it to as many kids as possible, same way they did with Die Hard 4 (and countless other movies, by countless other studios). To to make it all even more ridiculous, the Hitman games are known for being violent, where you kill, no, assassinate, people all the time, remember? To make a PG-13 of it is rather pathetic. I think I’ll wait for the “uncut” version on DVD.

I’ll probably still see it, but only because I like Timothy Olyphant from his days on “Deadwood.”

Hollywood is trying to make action movies rated PG-13 now. They feel this is the way to go if they want to make as much money as Spider-Man 3 or Pirates. Another reason this is done they feel people that saw it will buy the unrated when it comes out on DVD too since they’ll see more badass footage.

or they would just download it, since people are angry it was dumbed down and edited just to lower the rating.

Why not make Saw IV PG13? Then a lot of kids can see it, and they’ll earn even more money. My heart goes to the directors, who are forced to downscale their original visions of their movies. How are they ever going to make a PG13 cut of the Kane & Lynch movie?

A gamer either way will go see Hitman if it’s rated R. This reminds me of DOOM aiming at a PG-13, Id soft stepped in and tore them a nice ASS. How do you take a M game and make it T movie? I just don’t see it being done. This will fail to hitman fans, this is why gaming movies always suck.

iT IS A GOOD IDEA TO MAKE IT A STRONG PG-13,EVERYBODY KNOWS SAW 4 IS A AUTOMATIC R RATING THEY ARNT LOOKING FOR KIDS TO SEE SAW4 DUMBASS

James: So you call me a dumbass, because I, like everybody else, hates when executives interrupt the filmmakers´in their work, and force them to make a kids movie. Grow up and stop calling others f DUMBASS

October 14th, 2007 at 2:53 pm

hey, i got a great idea: let’s cut every movie which includes a little blood or a slow motion head-shot.
i mean, where’s the sense in this censor sh*t? If everybody would look after kids not to play games like hitman they wouldn’t even have the chance to look forward to such a movie. Hitman was, is, and will always be a game for adults only, so why do those movie producers take the fun from the adults which are allowed to see the movie, just because to give the fun to kids which want to legally see some violence?
Don’t f*ck around and stop censoring!
