logo_steam_header Want to partake in the enjoyment of Half-Life 2: Episode Two, or maybe some Team Fortress 2, but studying in college? Yes, college networks can sometimes be a pain, what with major ports being blocked and whatnot. To find out if Steam, the software required to play quite a few games - along with the aforementioned titles - is supported in your campus, check out this handy thread on the Steam Forums.

It lists major colleges across the US, as well as ones abroad, that block or do not block Steam. The list also carries details on where it works and where it does not, too.
