Ukash in Second Life

October 16th, 2007 Posted in News, PC

For those of you who play in Second Life, a new payment service has been launched for players in Europe. Step up to one of the Ukash terminals within the game and you can easily redeem vouchers which can be bought from various locations across Europe, for use in the game as Linden dollars, the game’s currency.

“Ukash transactions are growing across Europe because of the convenience and security it provides to those who wish to spend cash online, so it’s natural to offer the same benefits to those who wish to transact within Second Life,” says Mark Chirnside, CEO at Ukash.

The transaction is completed in real-time, putting Linden dollars into the player’s account immediately. There are no fees charged to Ukash, so players can spend money in the game without worrying about paying extra.
