Halo 3 Soundtrack on Thanksgiving

A two-disc soundtrack featuring songs from Halo 3 will be released in the US on November 20 by Sumthing Else Music Works, who has also published soundtracks for the previous Halos as well as other Microsoft and video game properties including Gears of War. It will include music from award-winning composers Martin O’Donnell and Michael Salvatori, as well as new music recorded with a full live orchestra and chorus. The two-disc set will feature two hours of original music from the game.

Additionally, the soundtrack will feature one more track performed by an artist that will be decided through a contest. Top entries will be awarded with a variety of merchandise including Halo 3 edition Xbox 360, a copy of the game, an exclusive Ibanez Xiphos electric guitar and a Halo-branded Zune.
