PS3 Now $399

October 17th, 2007 Posted in Featured, News, PlayStation 3 by Jeff Baker

If you’ve been holding off to purchase a PS3 now may be the perfect opportunity. Sony recently announced that there will be a 40 GB version of their console that will go on sale Nov. 2nd priced at $399, that’s cheaper than an Elite which runs around $450. While there is still a ways to go before Sony will introduce a X360 Core rival and hit that less than $300 hot spot but this is definitely a step in the right direction. Sony introduced the 40 GB PS3 in United Kingdom last week and saw an increase of 178% in sales, so a similar sales increase is not unlikely in North America.
