Eidos Interactive today announced that Tomb Raider Anniversary will be available on Xbox 360 starting October 26 and will also hit Xbox Live Marketplace as episodic downloadable content in November. The company, in a separate announcement, also marked the release of the PSP version of the game on October 26.
Tomb Raider Anniversary is a remake of the first game in the series, preserving the elements which made the series such a blockbuster hit, but also updating it with new gameplay mechanics and more. The series has sold over 32 million copies worldwide and has seen two major movies made, starring Angelina Jolie.
