Okami Officially Coming To Wii

October 18th, 2007 Posted in Action, Adventure, News, RPG, Wii by James

It seems that Okami is officially headed for the Wii. At a Capcom event in London, Eurogamer reports that the comapany has confirmed that the critically acclaimed adventure game Okami will be released on the Wii in the near future.

Okami was released last year on the PS2, and was hailed as one of the most innovative games of 2006, and will certainly benefit from Wii’s motion controls. Capcom didn’t reveal further information about the game, but it’s most likely a port from the PS2 version with added Wiimote controls, and even that would make it a very interesting Wii game. Capcom will probably make a press release with detailed information later this month.
