Soldier of Fortune Payback Refused Classification in Australia

October 18th, 2007 Posted in Action, FPS, PC by Rajiv Ashrafi

Kotaku Australia reports that Soldier of Fortune: Payback has been refused classification in the game, banning the game from being released over there. However, interestingly, the game was delayed even before it was denied classification. What does Activision have to say about this? Well, they are just as surprised as Kotaku, as the delay was independent of the rating board’s decision, though the North American release is still on for November.
