Hrmph! Locust! That’s right, Gears of War for the PC has gone gold. The PC version features a lot of new content, plus visual enhancements, especially if you’re a Vista user. The multiplayer element has three exclusive maps (in addition to all the maps on the Xbox 360) plus a map editor. The game is in stores on November 6.

2I am so ready for this game … and ready to see what my upgraded PC can do. I even gave up the Wii platform and went back to what I really like. I admit it I am more into graphics and visuals than anything and though I had fun with the Wii in the end I always knew that around this time when I needed money to upgrade my PC the Wii would have to be sold.
Anyway this game kicks it off for me. After this there is Crysis the very next week and then the week after that UT3 and on the 360 Mass Effect. Once I have all these games I doubt people will hear much from me. Man is November the greatest month ever for gaming! Oh yeah and CoD4 as well … good God I am going to burst!!!
