Smash Bros Dojo: PictoChat

October 23rd, 2007 by Jeff Baker in News, Wii

If you’ve ever picked up a Nintendo DS before then you probably know what PictoChat is. If not, it’s the visual chat software that allows you to doodle and chat which was included with the DS. Well, the Smash developers decided to make a play on this popular software and include a cleverly themed stage for you to Smash on.

Starting off as just a simple blank field with the familiar PictoChat dialog box and background the stage doesn’t show its full potential until the Smash is underway.

This new stage gives you the ability to Smash on what looks like simple doodles drawn by a DS user. Of course what would really grab our attention is if we were given the ability to draw a stage on the DS and then beam it over to the Wii using WiFi.

Oh, you can also listen to Mii and Wii Shop Channel music while Smashing on this stage.
